Center sleeves permanently align the gear box with the drive shaft and are therefore constantly exposed to high rotational speeds.
Since the drive shaft is very long, it consists of several joints which transmit torque.. Because they are exposed to high rotational forces, all types of joints must be supported. For this purpose, centering sleeves are used, which permanently align the drive shaft with the gear box. In some options, the center sleeves use a special rubber compound without any additional inner sleeve.
