Designed for when loads, damping and thermal load capacity are high
Inertia ring providing vibration mass
Bearings enable relative movement
Torsional Vibration Dampers (TVDs) reduce crankshaft vibrations. This increases the life of the motor, reduces unwanted noise and enables more lightweight crankshaft design. Fluid TVDs are designed for when loads, damping and thermal load capacity are high.
In Fluid TVDs, the fluid provides the damping and stiffness whereas the inertia ring serves as the vibration mass. Specially designed bearings enable relative movement of the torsional vibration damper and the optional pulley secures the connection to the belt drive.
