Cabin mounts for truck cabins connect the cabin with the stabilizer and reduce vibrations transferred from the frame into the cabin. They can withstand high radial loads and torsional movements, thus ensuring a relaxed and comfortable ride.
Cabin mounts with a decoupled stiffness rate and tilting function are multifunctional mounts: they offer all the functions of a normal cabin mount without the need for additional spring elements such as air or steel springs. Furthermore, two different rubber compounds cover the stiffness ratio of axial and radial characteristics and ensure a high NVH performance. The torsional sliding function enables the cabin to be tilted while maintaining the required stiffness. This is achieved by specially designed lightweight plastic components.
