Volker Christ (53) will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer at Vibracoustic on September 1, 2017. His predecessor Stefan Eck (48) will be leaving the company on September 30, 2017, and pursuing new challenges. Volker Christ is currently the Head of Corporate Controlling and Accounting for the Freudenberg Group in Weinheim. After completing his degree course in business administration in Mannheim, he spent 15 years with Procter & Gamble, working in several countries and a variety of management positions. Volker Christ launched his career in the Freudenberg Group on June 1, 2004, as Corporate Director of Controlling at today’s Freudenberg Home & Cleaning Solutions (FHCS), where on April 1, 2007, he assumed the role of CFO and became a member of the Management Board. Mr. Christ switched to the parent company Freudenberg & Co. KG on August 1, 2012, assuming his current position as Head of Corporate Controlling and Accounting.
Stefan Eck will be leaving the company on September 30, 2017, at his own request in order to pursue new challenges outside of the Freudenberg Group. “We would like to thank Mr. Eck for his exceptional dedication as a member of the Vibracoustic Management Board. He played a key role in promoting profitable, long-term growth at our company and advancing the implementation of our strategic projects. We wish him all the best for his future,” says Chief Executive Officer Frank Müller. “At the same time, our company is gaining a very experienced manager with proven expertise in Mr. Christ.”
